Hi Everyone,

We, (me, DH and DD's 2 1/2 and turning 5) are planning to do the Hoop de doo in Jan. My DH and I have been once before kids. My questions are, I'm debating between the 5:00 and 7:15 show. I think the kids can make it to 7:15 if we eat a later lunch and they bring the food out right away. Do they? Also, I'm not quite sure if they'll eat fried chicken, Do they offer any kid's type food? The reason I wanted to do the 7:15 is that the parks close early in Jan and this would be a good evening activity. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Lisa

We were their this summer for first time. As I recall salad was on the table when we arrived. When you make PS ask them for the number direct to the restraunt. Call 24 hrs. in advance tell them you have picky eater & could they have chicken tenders & fries or something. The man I talked to was very nice. They brought my 3 each an order. When we got their I told the waitress I had called she must of known in advance someone called. They were very nice about it. Only you know if your kids can wait to eat that late. They will have a great time.

We did the 7:15 show. The bread and salad came pretty quickly. I didn't know that I could call them to get a different choice for my dd. But they did bring her some mac and cheese. But the server didn't seem to be to pleased about it. Guess maybe a call beforehand is better. If you are concerned about them not being able to make the later show, I would book the 5. The kids are still little and they might not be up to a later show after being on the go that day.

Not sure about the Hoop-Dee-Doo, but the Luau at the Poly has a kid's meal. Came in a box, with a mini hamburger, two mini hot dogs, and some Mac and cheese. Waitress was very accomodating, and didn't mind bringing this out for DS.

I would imagine tha HDD would supply the same option.

we were at HDDR early sept (just before labor day/hurricane frances) and the salad (excellent) and bread were already on the table... food came out after a short wait... my children did not care for fried chicken/ribs/etc so the cm happily brought them mac/cheese and pizza... she said no chicken nuggets because they already serve chicken (makes sense sorta)...
