Hi all,

I’ll be arriving Friday, July 19 with my son and his girlfriend, (staying on DVC pts at VGF). The 3 of us will be activating our AP’s on Friday night before heading into the parks. We’re traveling with 4 friends who aren’t arriving until the next day, Saturday, July 20. They have purchased park hopper tickets that are “dated”. I believe their dates go from the 20th-27th, however they don’t need the day of the 27th as they have an early morning flight. We’re trying to figure out if there’s a way for me to make the FP’s for everyone at my 60 day mark which opens up a day earlier than theirs. Can she just change her park tickets to start on the 19th instead of the 20th even though they don’t check in until the 20th? They are staying on DVC points and their park passes were purchased separately. We’re all connected on My Disney experience, so if she did that would I be able to make fast passes for all 7 of us at our 60 day window even though they are not on our room reservation?

Many thanks!

Yes, you can book for everyone when your window opens. Anyone listed or linked in your MDX shares your booking window when you book for the complete group of ticketed guests.

Terrific, thank you! She does need to change her park pass “start date”, correct?

No; your open window encompasses her valid ticket timeframe so she doesn’t need to change anything.

We just did this with my son and DIL arriving a day before the other 12 of us. We were all linked and DIL got all of our fast passes (FOP, FEA, 7DMT) on her 60 day out day. The only ones she couldn’t book were ones when she already had her 3 FP’s and someone else (a late arriver) wanted to go on a different ride. But we got those the next day with no problems.

An added question to my original post above as my FP window opens next Monday: We are departing on a Tuesday and the other party is staying for 3 more days. Would I be able to book some hard-to-get FP’s for her family for those additional days at my 60 day mark even though my reservation will have ended? I do have an AP but assume that doesn’t help at 60 days out. They are linked on my MDX, but have a separate DVC reservation and separate park passes.

Many thanks!

No; your booking window is only open through your checkout date.
