Need help with first day plans

Since we are going for a quick trip (3 nights), we thought we'd like to go to a park first. This is our very first trip home to OKW. Our plane is landing at about 10:40. We thought we'd pick up the luggage and the car and go straight to a park, but we need the windshield card for free parking. Should we check in first? We can probably keep our luggage in the car. The last time we stayed at CBR we went out to a long lunch and came back to check in at 3 because it seemed everyone came back at 3. The line was very long! Or is it always this long to check in? I thought it might be shorter around noon. Could we just show the reservation letter to the parking attendant? What should we do?

You can check in even though your room wont be ready. They will give you a # to call to check on the status of your check in. You can leave your luggage at the desk if you like. They will bring it to you once you get in your room.

You should b able to show your reservation letter to the park attendant also. Although we have never done this before, I would think it would get you in the park.

3pm is the posted check-in time at the cash resorts. You probably ran into the flood of folks wanting to get into their room at CBR.

I'd go right to OKW and check-in. I doubt you will find more than a couple people ahead of you in line. You may even get into your room right away and save yourself time fussing with the luggage later on in the day.
