Need help with eBay - PLEASE!

Well if it does end up getting delivered to me I'll just mail it back to her (with delivery confirmation!!!).

All I want is the item, it's my CPA review course and I really want to start studying - like yesterday!

I ordered some coupons that were good for 20% off at Babies r us. It really saves when you buy something in the $400 range. I bought them Feb. 21 from someone in California and they expire today March 4th and I never got them. She sent them first class mail so there is no tracking. She doesn't want to refund my money even though its only a few dollars. She told me to buy the item and then when and if I receive the coupons take them to the store and see if I can get a credit.
I filed a claim with the resolution center.

Well today's mail arrived, no items - sigh....

I contacted the seller so I guess I will see what happens. How long should I give to see a refund before I start a dispute with eBay?

I would send a note to the seller and have her start the process. If you start it then she will not be able to get a refund for her final value fees. I would give her a deadline (maybe by Monday) and then file it yourself if she doesn't do anything by then. Make sure to tell her that she won't get her fees back if you file a dispute.

The seller has asked me to wait until tomorrow midnight then I will be issued a full refund. I did tell them I would wait until then but do not want to wait any longer. I also mentioned that I don't want to file a complaint with eBay so they can get the final value fees returned.

So I'm hoping for a good outcome tomorrow. I guess I will know that if tomorrow comes and they are trying to push me off for longer I will dispute in all areas that I can, paypal, eBay and my credit card.

UGH!

That seller is stringing you along. You need to file the dispute now. If she closes out her paypal account you could end up with nothing if I'm not mistaken. She has not followed the stated rules for how it was to be sent--make a complaint now. It can always be retracted later if it all works out, but in the meantime you will be covered.

Well just an update:

Still no item in the mail, contacted seller and got an email from paypal showing a refund for the full amount. It says it is pending from paypal, and should take 3-5 days to get...

So my next question:
Is there still a chance it could disappear or is it really totally there for me? Since I don't have a paypal account, how will I get it out, or will it just show up on my credit card? The email is sort of ambiguous.

Thanks

I'm glad that you got your money back! I would call PayPal to find out how to get your money back from them. They may apply it back to the credit card or they might transfer it to a bank account. You may have to join PP at this time to expedite things. If you have a personal account and you have it transferred to your bank account you may have to do it in two chunks as I think the withdrawal limit is $500 per month.
