Need help with DME questions

I'm thinking of adding a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Port Canaveral at the end of my next WDW vacation. Since I would be going to the airport to pick up a shuttle to Port Canaveral, can I still use DME to at least get me to the airport?

Also, can I put luggage in the storage bins under the bus and not have to check them in early at the bell stand? Obviously, I need to keep my luggage with me since I won't be flying out that day!

You can take the DME bus to MCO on the day you check out. Yes, your driver can stow your luggage under the bus but....

price the cost of a car service from WDW to the Port vs the cost of a car service from MCO to the Port vs the cost of the cruise line transfers from MCO to the Port.

It will my a lot more convenient to just book a car service directly from WDW to MCO.

Also price a one way car rental from WDW to the Port.

I'm so glad you posted this question. We have an RC cruise booked right after our WDW vacation and I was wondering the same thing! For our family of 7, we looked into renting a minivan to go from WDW to the port, park it there for three days, then have it to tool around town for a day or two when we return from the cruise before we fly back home. The rental is about $300. A shuttle (again, for a party of 7) would be about $120 one way, so then we'd still have transportation back to MCO from the port and that would be another $120 or so. For us, I'm thinking the car rental might be our best bet.
