We are pretty exicted, due to life stuff, child number 3 is coming 6 years after our last one so it is like starting again. I know have a reason for Disney vacations basically until retirement. I might need to add another DVC contract so I can have a one bedroom and enough points to split with the kids.

Expecting 3rd child just 3 weeks and the nursey is still not painted. First 2 kids had classic Winnie the Pooh.

This one I was thinking that I wanted to do a Dumbo Theme. Picked out cloud wallpaper for the top and can't decide on colors for the bottom. Was going to do a Red and White stripped bottom like a circus tent but my wife does not think that will be soothing enough.

Then again we are cutting this one so close I might wait and see the gender of the baby and either do Minnie Mouse or Monster's Inc.

Any advice or neat ideas?

Given that you already have the cloud wallpaper (for the top 2/3 of the wall???), and that you don't know the gender of the baby or whether or not you might change up the theme, I'd stick with something more neutral. Perhaps a grassy or mossy green? Then use the oversize, repositionable stickers, toys, and accessories for decoration and to emphasize whatever theme you decide on.

This also makes changing the theming or decoration in the room easier when the baby becomes a toddler and you want to move on to princesses or cars, etc. I'd recommend that you get the painting done BEFORE the baby is born. You remember the chaos and exhaustion of having a new baby in the house, right?

You could probably do any colour for the bottom. I like the green idea. You know what would be really cool? Maybe you could find a great high res picture of Dumbo online and have it printed out as a poster at Staples or somewhere. Depending on the image you could cut it out and stick it on the wall so he looks like he's flying. The crows on a wire would be great too. And balloon decals in primary colours. Maybe a train wallpaper border. What a great theme. I hope you will post a pic when you finish.

Crows on the wire is a great idea, along with the train. I was thinking of the stork picture too....thanks

Saw anither idea yesterday the House from Up with the Balloons.

Not sure if they still carry them or not, but I recall that the last time I had to purchase paint (a few years ago), I was looking thru the colors at Home Depot, and they had a line of official Disney colors (the paint chips were little Mickey heads).

Sadley Home Depot does not seem to have these anymore in Regina anyways. They used ot have the Mickey heads but also little pamplets with color matches...Bher paint I think.

That is where I got the sceme for the last baby room I did and I loved the pre-matched colors.

Going with Green and yellow stripes on the bottom and sky blue on the top. Ordered some Dumb decals and clouds from ebay,
