Need help with Dallas

It's a general area of town - kind of a renovated old warehouse district. Mostly restaurants & clubs, maybe a few shops. I haven't been down there in a LONG time. Used to in my single clubbing days. Fun place. I'm sure someone from Dallas will see this & give you more info.

hard rock is in mckinney ave area not west end, it is just about due north of downtown, and due east of american airlines center. depending on where you are staying you can take the mckinney ave. trolley from downtown to the front door of the restaurant.

ok thanks we are staying at the Magnolia. So I guess I'm wondering... if we go to the Hard Rock... is there anything else to do in the general area (with a 17 yo) that will kill a few hours before the concert starts?

for a seventeen yo there isn't much in mckinney, mostly restaurants and bars, but the west end is between you and there and there are some unique shops and an arcade there, as well as other rests, the dallas aquarium is also in the area. it might take a liitle work and planning, but you can do some sightseeing and then go uptown to the hard rock and then over to the center for the show. it will be warm outside but the air conditioning works at all of these venues and it will be very comfortable at any of these pursuits.
