I have recently come upon a Creative Memories catalog. I haven't seen one in YEARS and really like some of the stuff I've seen in there. I do have a few questions though.
I'm going to be making a scrapbook album for my cousin who is getting married next month, she just doesn't know it yet
But her bridal shower is Sunday and I'm giving her the scrapbook & explaining that I'll be making the album for her after the wedding.
I'm not sure what she's doing with her photos from the photographer yet. Not sure if she's having a photo album done by the photographer or just going to develop the ones that she's likes. Who knows?
Nine out of ten times I'll probably use the photos that we're taking throughout the day in the album with maybe a few of the ones from the photographer. We'll see how it goes.
Anyhow, I've been debating on how to do this album. At first I was going to try to find a paper pack that would work in the album. Then when I saw the CM catalog, I really liked the Divine Cricut Cartridge. Then I saw the Divine Power Palette? Now, I'm really confused. I've never used a Power Palette before. I see if you buy the whole thing that all the papers, stickers, ribbon, etc match. That's what I'm looking for throughout the album. But here's my dilemma. I don't know which way to go.....
1--First off, her colors would be black, white/cream & red. If I end up buying the papers to use with the Cricut cartridge how well would the brown papers/stickers match if I used some red accents?
2--Would you buy just the two sets of papers along with the Cricut to make the album or just buy the whole Power Palette? The thing with that though, is if I bought the whole Power Palette, I'm not sure how I would add in some red to the pages.
Just looking for some insight on what to buy. It's either going to be, go all out and buy the Power Palette OR buy the two sets of papers (solid/printed) and also the Cricut, so I can cut out which cut I want instead of having to use what's on the stickers.
And if I'm seeing the catalog the right way, the paper is double sided. Do you get one sheet or two sheets of each design? Have you ever made an album using the Power Palette? How did you like it or not like it? Any other tips for using them?
