Hello all. We have the wonderful problem of deciding which choice of room to book for the fall. I would greatly appreciate if everyone could advise on which way they would go. This is the first trip for my 7 year old godchild! We have the choice of a club level lagoon view at the Beach Club, a club level room at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian theme part view room. We would love a great pool and not too much problems with getting to the parks via Disney transportation. Any advice would be great :)

Thank you

They are all wonderful choices.

If having a great pool is a big part of your decision then I would go with BC. They have the best pool on Disney property - basically a mini water park.

I would look at all three threads and see which one peaks your interests.

We've stayed at all three and in order of preference I would say, - BC, Poly, GF.

We stayed at BC this past January and LOVED it!!! :cool1: The rooms are very comfortable and were plenty big enough for my wife, 21 y/o daughter, and myself. The pool has a sand bottom and I think your 7 y/o would love it and the pirate ship slide!! The CM's are wonderful there and the whole resort has a great atmosphere!!! Have a magical trip!! ;)

I am going to say Poly. The Volcano Pool is still fun, but the ease of using the Monorail to either walk to TTC and go to Epcot, or just taking to MK makes everything a lot easier.

All 3 are beautiful resorts!

I would base my choice on what parks you think you would visit the most.

MK and Epcot - then either the Poly or GF. To get to the MK, both hotels have the monorail and a relaxing boat ride. To get to Epcot take the monorail to the TTC, get off the monorail and take the Epcot Monorail. In chosing between the Poly or the GF I would base it on the resorts theme, that appeals to you.

Epcot and DHS - then the BC. You can walk into Epcot directly from the BC. To get to DHS, you can walk (15 minute walk) and there is a boat shuttle that takes you to the park.

Enjoy! and good luck with your decision!

We have stayed at all 3 resorts.

First I'll say that Club Level is nice with kids since when they need a drink or a snack you can just pop in to the lounge and not have to go to a QS place, stand in line, etc.

As for pools, BC has the BEST pool at WDW, in my opinion.

For us location is important, too. BC will give you great access to Epcot and DHS, which we love. But if you think you will be spending most of your time at the MK I would pick either the Poly or the GF. Poly is nice since it's easy to get to Epcot as well as the MK.

We like both the Poly and the GF, but they have very, very different theming and atmosphere. Between your two choices, I'd choose GF CL over Poly TPV (although that view is spectacular). Both have fun pools with a waterslide.

So IMO it really depends on which location you prefer, and then which amenities and theming appeal to you more for this trip. I hope this helps!:goodvibes

Like all the prior posters have stated they all are exceptional. It's basically depends on which parks that you are going to visit the most. Beach club definitely takes the cake for the pool but getting to magic kingdom maybe a little bit more than you bargained 4. If it were up to me you narrowed it down to the to resorts buy magic kingdom I would definitely go for the poly over grand floridian. Although nice the grand floridian to me just seems a little bit stuffy. Have fun making your.choice

We've stayed at all 3 and they are all great resorts. With that said, the Poly is our favorite resort as well as our favorite pool out of the 3. Nothing beats having a view of the castle while swimming, along with having the beach for watching the fireworks :cloud9:. We love being on the monorail, which makes it easy for visiting the GF and CR for a variety of dining choices. The GF is great, too, as it's on the monorail, but we prefer the tropical theme of the Poly over the victorian theme of the GF. Plus it's great being able to walk to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail. Even though my choice would be the Poly, you can't go wrong with any of them as they are all wonderful places to stay. Good luck deciding and happy planning :wizard:.

I would have to put a vote in for Poly. Our last stay in Nov of 2010 included 4 nights in a Theme Park view room in the Tahiti longhouse. It was a larger room than I think you would end up with at BC, and was a short walk to the TTC. You could also walk back to the GCH to catch the resort monorail there to get to the GF, CR, or MK.

The volcano pool is nice and has a cool slide. It certainly is not SAB at BC, but it is a nice pool and nice view out to Seven Seas Lagoon. Captain Cook's is very good for a quick counter service meal, and the grounds around Poly are just wonderful to walk through.

I don't think you'll go wrong with any of your three choices.

Have a great trip!!!
