need help with checkin

I rented DVC points from david;s. We have 2 studio rooms at BCV's. The two rooms are under two separate confirmation numbers. I have both under My Disney Experience though. I did online checkin today. There was no area to request the two rooms be close to each other. I called the main disney number and explained my request...they transferred me to the resort...who then transferred me to the DVC. DVC cast member told me they had no way of acceccing my resi and the owner of the points would need to call to make that request. This seems silly...if I can checkin online like a typical resi why can't they just add a note onto my resi asking that the 2 be near each other?

Because while you can access online checkin due to the fact you have the Reservation number, the actual reservation "belongs" to the member you rented it from.

They will have to contact DVC Member Services and make the request for you.

Until you check in the reservation is the member's and only DVC members can contact Member Services.

Just remember, even if the member adds your request for them to be close to each other, they might be far apart or even on different floors. Good luck.

We will be OK if we aren't near each other. It would just be super convenient if it works out.
