We will be in WDW on Oct. 16-25 and are not sure which character meals to do. We have done Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Garden Grille, CRT in the past and want to try something different for this trip. Know that we want to do Chef Mickey's again, but don't want to repeat any of the others. Which others would you suggest? We'd like to see characters other than the ones at Chef Mickey's. We were thinking of either 1900 Park Fare or Cape May---any opinions?? By the way, we have two girls ages 5 and 8. Thanks for any suggestions.

We're going to the Ohana's character breakfast in the Polynesian. I've never been, but from the sounds of it, it's a good one to try- Mickey and Minnie are all dressed up in Hawaiian garb and I think there are spontaneous games for the kids (coconut races and such). I guess the characters will be the same as at Chef Mickey's though (although you could try it instead for a change of scene).

We did the 1900 Park Fare Pooh and friends breakfast last year and it was really good- there was plenty of character interaction (the characters then were WTP, Mary Poppins, Alice and Eeyore) and the food was pretty good (all you can eat buffet style). They even have a separate little buffet area for the kids with donut holes, Mickey waffles, fruit loops, cheerios, sausage links and bacon. I know they're doing a Princess dinner there at the moment with Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming and one of the mice- might also be worth trying.

Good luck deciding

My girls, who were 3 & 4 at the time LOVED the 1900 Park Faire breakfast with Mary Poppins--we also had characters from Pinochio and Alice in Wonderland. The food was very good and the setting is lovely. They are 5 & 6 now and asking to have breakfast with Mary Poppins again on our next trip.

No Minnie at the Poly. Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

But it is a good breakfast.

No Minnie? I thought I saw lots of pictures of Minnie in a Hawaiian print dress- I guess they could have been old ones from when it was Minnie's Menehune breakfast?

Oh well.....looks like we'll be lining up in Toontown!

How about the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot (Norway)? It's pricesses, but a change from CRTand different from Chef Mickey's.

Also, we always enjoy the charcter meals at the Crystal Palace in MK. Pooh and friends - breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Have fun!

Our favourite is the Liberty Tree Tavern at MK. Characters are only there for dinner. Food is served family style and there has always been plenty. Characters when we were there were Minnie, Chip'n' Dale, Goofy and Pluto although I have read on these boards that Donald and Daisy have replaced Chip 'n' Dale.

We tried the character breakfast at Cape May in the Beach Club, and we really enjoyed it. Also, consider Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK. The food was really great!!
