I just booked DD's 2nd birthday party at an amusement park. I am only renting the tent, which will come with 5 tables and chairs. I will also rent their grill so I will have to bringing my own food and drinks. I'm thinking of feeding my guest hamburgers, hot dogs and lots of fruits and drinks. In the kid's goodie bags I will give them a lot of snacks that they can have at the park. (pretzel sticks, popcorn, cookies, candies etc) So here is the big question: we're going to provide the kids with tickets so they can go on the rides.. How much ($$) should I give each child? Or should I go with how much should I give per family? I have a few family that have only 1 kid and then a few family that have 3 kids...

Any help you provide me would be awesome..

Oh... if this helps, rides ranges between .75 to $1.50 each

does the amusement park offer any kind of special like an unlimited pass?
we go to a small amusement park that has the same kind of pricing, but they also offer an unlimited pass for about $10

if they don't have that, I guess it would depend on your budget.......$10-15 worth of ride tix per kid
I would do it per kid not per family.

thanks for posting in my thread.!

No, they do not offer unlimited pass on the weekends, only tickets. Really pre kid not per family, eventhough I have some family with 1 kid and some family with 3 kids?

well I think if you invite x number of kids, you should provide party activities for those kids.
how many kids are coming? how many families?

also, are all the kids around 2 yo too?

Definitely per child, not family. If you invited them to CEC, each child gets the same amount of tokens, regarless if they have siblings there (ie - if my twins attend, they don't have to split them). I'd say $10 would be okay.

8 of the 38 kids are 2 years old and the rest are DS' friends (5+)
