I feel like a newbie! I'm taking DD5 for her first trip to the World. Its just the two of us this time so I'm all about making it as magical as possible for her but within a budget.

We are on the dining plan and have 3 nights. Our first day we arrive at 9:30 am so lots of time. We are staying at All Star Movies. We are only doing 2 day base tickets and plan to be at MK both days. A few tid bits about us, she is a princess freak and now all into Disney's High School Musical. She loves anything girly. She is a big eater for her age and not all that picky. Veggies are more desired than sweets. I've been to Disney a few times and have been fortunate to eat at a lot of great places so I'm not so concerned about me actually enjoying the food as I am with her being totally wow'ed.

So far I have:
arrival night: 'Ohana (thinking she can see the fireworks, CG is a bit much for her)
breakfast day 2: CRT
Dinner day 3: CM - am thinking of changing this to GF Park Fare but not sure, I want to change things up a bit and she does love Minnie and Mickey.
Breakfast last morning (we leave around 2 so this is one i can do without) 'Ohana

I would love to do the Princess tea but its way out of our price range.

Any suggestions?

I really, really like CM's breakfast a lot more than 'Ohana's breakfast. Since you will be at 'Ohana for dinner the first night, why not do 1900 Park Faire for dinner on day 2, then CM's for breakfast your last day?

As much as I love CM for breakfast, I have no desire to do it for dinner.

Have fun, it sounds like a GREAT trip! :wizard:

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast on day 2? I think, no, I'm pretty sure, you will have to change that one as it will surely be unavailable. It takes commando-style telephone skills and a tremendous amount of luck to score that one. Not to mention, it's outrageously over-priced. I've planned for our trip for 1-1/2 years and I'm not gonna touch that one. Meaning, I could afford it, because I've had time to save, but who wants to pay that price?!

Anyway, I know you said you were only doing MK but, Akhersus at EPCOT has a great princess breakfast for much less. All-you-can-eat Family Style.....and it's on the dining plan! You will see these princesses: Snow White, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Belle, Jasmine, Princess Aurora, Ariel, Alice and Pocahontas. Location: Norway Pavilion.

Maybe you could park-hop over?

I was under the impression she already had her CRT ADR? :confused3

I did not mention Akershus because she said only MK stuff, but yes, that is a good one!

And I do agree that CRT does not have the greatest food, but I did it once before and will be doing it our next trip, as DD is now 7 and I think this will be the last time she will care to dine with the princesses in the castle. It is one of those meals that ain't so great, but ya just gotta do it, at least once in your life, if your DD is a princess lover! princess:

I agree with this. Do CM's for breakfast instead of Ohana and switch CM dinner to 1900 Park Fare.

I would do one meal in the castle which ever one you choose on day two, it is just special to eat at the castle! I believe at lunch the girls get magic wands, that is the meal my niece (8 years old and still loves the princesses) picked for our trip. You might want to do Park Faire your first night because Cinderella is there with Prince Charming and Suzy and Perla (the mice). You could then watch the fireworks from the beach, you don't say when you are going but WISHES can be as late as 10pm in the summer. Have fun!
