Last time we made all our dinning reservations on line and this time,it says you need to use a credit card.Need to make some today, any help would be great.
I think the reason is now some restaurants require a credit card on file to use for the no show fee. Also some require you to pay upfront such as CRT but if on the dining plan it doesn't actual charge your card.
A number of restaurants now require a cc, it started in October. You are charged $10 if you cancel within one day of the ADR. See this thread for more info and a lit of retaurants: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2836290
There's no way around it. You have to put a card on record to make ressies at many of the restaurants now. Same thing if you call, they will ask for a card.
Yup- you can still make the ADR online, you just need to input CC info. So, basically like Akershus, Cali Grill, etc. were before the changes were made. So, I think it's all of the character meals, 'Ohana dinner, Le Cellier, and all of the signatures.
