Need help with a park/days scheduling question

My FP 60 day mark is coming up, so I am trying to finalize our schedule for which days we are going to which parks. We have 4 day non-hopper tickets and plan to do 1 day per park.

I'm stuck on where to put EP and AK in our schedule. We have park days scheduled for Sun-Mon-Wed-Thurs.

Schedule Option 1 has EP on Sunday and AK on Wed.

Schedule Option 2 has them switched: AK on Sunday and EP on Wed.

Problem is: I was all set to do schedule 1, but then I noticed that Wed was an EMH day for AK. I was planning on skipping all EMH days and that spooked me.

I've been consulting crowd calendars to help me pick days, but the two sites I use the most completely disagree on which park is best for each of those schedules - as in, they are the EXACT opposite.

AK on Wed: Touring plans lists it as a 5(not bad), but Kenny the Pirate says it is a BAD(red) park for that day.

AK on Sunday: Touring plans lists it as a 7, but Kenny says it a GOOD (green) park for that day.

Other considerations:

That Sunday is the Dark Side half marathon. Will we have an easier time going to AK on Sunday given that we are staying at AKL? Less travel time through potentially blocked off roads?

My son really wants to do EP on Sunday.

I keep going back and forth on this and I just can't decide which schedule to go with. Advice?

Ignore crowd predictions.
(This is not a joke.)

Just pick the days that best suit your idea of what you want to do.

If you are NOT going to participate in AM EMH, avoid AM EMH parks in the morning.
Anything else is just someone else's guess.

Like Robo said, ignore crowd calendars.

I go frequently and I stay off site. So I pick our parks by avoiding the park with AM EMH..then I plan to usually end up in the park that's closes the latest. Sometimes go to the park that opens the latest to get a little more sleep.

It's all personal preference but I wouldn't put much stock behind crowd calendars. It's not like you'll go to MK and it's swamped while AK is empty.

Ok, so it sounds like so far I'm hearing that we'd be best off staying away from AK on the day it has EMH. That would leave Sunday, marathon day. Since we are staying at AKL, I wonder if we would encounter less traffic/detours by going to AK that morning, given that it's the nearest park to us? We're not trying to get a FOP FP, so at least we don't have to worry about that, but hopefully we'd still be able to get Navi. That would be day 60+1 for us.

How likely are they to keep changing/adding EMH before our trip? Once I lock in our schedule, I'm going to be annoyed if they go and add EMH to a day where I was specifically trying to avoid it.

You are asking very specific questions, but you have not given us any dates.

Sorry, I'm looking at Sunday, April 22nd 2018, (Dark side half marathon day) and Wed, April 25th, as the days I'm deciding between.

If you don't care about FOP then I am not sure it matters. If you wanted FOP then I would put that on Wed.

I would lean towards doing EP during the week because of F&G (unless there is a special event on Sunday you want to attend). This would match Kenny's recommendations and the numbers from TP are not bad. You also avoid the EMH that you do not plan to use.

I am not sure how the race impacts things in park, so I am sort of ignoring that in my analysis.
