Heading to the world for 10 days, and looking for your 10 cant miss places to dine at Disney that only take 1 dining credit.

A few of our favorite 1 credit restaurants depending on meal are: Chef Mickey's (breakfast), Via Napoli (lunch and dinner), Tutto Italia (lunch and dinner), Yak & Yeti (lunch and dinner), Hollywood & Vine (breakfast and lunch), Garden Grill (dinner), Akershus (breakfast), San Angel Inn (lunch and dinner), Crystal Palace (breakfast), Cape May Cafe (dinner), The Wave (dinner)

10 day or 10 nights ? Meal credits are based on nights, ie 9 nights would be 9 credits and 10 nights 10 etc. Do you want character meals ? What sorts of cuisine do you prefer ?

Some of our favorites include Crystal Palace for breakfast, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian (not only do they have great food, we love the opportunity to visit the Polynesian!! So beautiful!), Teppan Edo in Japan at Epcot is great fun and food, Biergarten in Germany is a great buffet with an enchanting atmosphere. We also love Garden Grill at Epcot. We ate there for the first time on our last trip and consider it a must do now. The character interaction there is wonderful. Via Napoli in Epcot has excellent pizza and is beautiful inside. Chef Mickey's buffet is pretty average, but it is really a lot of fun for the kids.

Just to name a few. :goodvibes

I could go on...;)

Our must do dinner's are: Raglan Road, Biergarten, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Crystal Palace.
We also have really enjoyed Sci-Fi, T-Rex and Rainforest.
For quick service our favorite was Columbia Harbor House.
We were disappointed in The Plaza and 1900 Park Fare (dinner).

We also enjoy the luau which is 2 credits - a lot of people love the Hoop Dee Doo review but we don't like audience interaction so that is not for us.

We are trying a bunch of new ones this year to include Ohana which seems to be crazy popular, Crystal Palace breakfast, Morocco (Restaurant Marrakesh), BOG, Sanaa and Chef Mickey's.

I'm surprised that no one has yet to mention Boma at AKL or 'Ohana at the Poly. Both places are favorites of ours and many others on these boards. :thumbsup2

If you have kids Chef Mickey's has a great atmosphere. Can't beat Crystal Palace. Kona Cafe and Ohana at the Poly are both wonderful. 50's Prime Time is great fun at DHS, and a lot of people like Sci Fi Drive-In as well. Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great buffet. I am a big fan of Liberty Tree and like it for dinner as well as lunch. The world showcase has an array of delicious choices from San Angel Inn at Mexico to Teppan Edo at Japan to Rose & Crown for UK specialties.

Some of our favorites:

Liberty Tree Tavern - lunch only
Via Napoli - good apps and wood fired thin crust pizza
Rose & Crown - good food, IllumiNations viewing
Chefs - must say hello to Remy
Yak & Yeti - favorite TS in AK
Sci Fi Dine In - familiar food and bad movie clips
Kona - delicious breakfast choices
Boma - great breakfast buffet with African overtones and Frunch
'Ohana - family style dinner
Raglan Road - good food and fun atmosphere

Some of our fav's are:

Breakfast: Kona, Ohana, The Wave
Lunch/Dinner: Via Napoli, Boma, Ohana, Sci-Fi

The Wave is very quiet in the AM and has lots of great options. You can order off the menu or choose to do the buffet. This restaurant is really a hidden gem. I love the atmosphere of the Poly in general, so visiting Kona and Ohana are always must-do's. Boma is a buffet with some yummy African inspired options as well as some more safe options. AKL is also a beautiful resort and definitely worth the trip over. We visit Via Napoli for the pizza and Sci-Fi is really fun to eat at and they have awesome milkshakes.

Have fun choosing! Hope you have a wonderful vacation.

We love:

Kona and Ohana's (we usually do only one of them per trip for our first night in town....)
Coral Reef was a nice surprise. I loved their chocolate wave dessert.
Garden Grill is a fave of our family--just check their menu as it is very limited like Ohana's is...family style and very specific
Mama Melrose's
Chef Mickey's for breakfast
Biergarten if you like German food...we do!
We tried Boma last year and liked it. It is good if your family enjoys new food and flavors.

Some of our favorites are the Crystal Palace for breakfast, 50"s Prime Time Cafe, and The Liberty Tree Tavern.

Try to get a TS Dinner at BOG in MK. Or the CS Lunch.

You will have to look at menus to see what appeals to you.

We had a very nice dinner at Captain's Grille at YC. Cape May buffet at Beach Club is very nice for everyone. We loved Kouzzina at BWI.

MK - BOG, Liberty Tree
HS - Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time
EP - Biergarten, Tangierene Cafe, Chefs de France
AK - Yak and Yeti
AKL - Sanaa for late lunch (easier to get a window table), Boma for Dinner
Poly - Kona and 'Ohana
CR - The Wave
GF - Grand Floridian Cafe
DTD - Raglan Road

Some of our favs:

CP breakfast
Ohana dinner
HDDR
TH breakfast
Akershus breakfast
Biergarten dinner
50's PTC dinner

We are not picky eaters and love trying new food. But we will also have our toddler daughter and don't want to have to stress about keeping her quite as a mouse(haha) for dining. Thanks everyone.

Most of my favorites have been listed above, but Turf Club at SSR has a really nice dinner. The ambience is very adult and perfect for a romantic evening for two.

We too, have a 10 day vacation. Our choices were:

-Cinderella's Castle (2 credits) (MK)
-Coral Reef (Epcot)
-Hollywood & Vine (Hollywood)
-Tusker House (AK)
-Ohana (Polynesian Hotel)
-Cape May (Beach Club Resort)
-Biergarten (Epcot)
-Crystal Palace (MK)
-Chef Mickey

I'd also recomment:
-Le Cellier (x2)
-Chefs de France
-Dessert Party.

Using a two-point meal was strategy for us since we are going to Universal one day and plan on using two quick service meal that day to take Sandwiches with us. Plus, it's a LOT of food. Some people never use all of their points....

We are headed there in December and our reservations look a little something like this:

Breakfast -
Tusker House
Kona
Captain's Grille
Crystal Palace

Dinner
Sci-fi
Chefs De Franch
Via Napoli
Kouzzina
Hacienda de San Angel
Yak and Yeti
Sanaa
