Help! I need some opinions...

I have 3 nights booked at the Wilderness Lodge for Labor Day weekend.

I have a rate of $ 145 which includes tax with a woodsview room.

I started thinking about the Animal Kingdom Lodge and a Savannah Room for those nights will be $171 includes tax. or a standard room would even be cheaper for $130.

Which would you do? We are staying at CBR for 4 nights before and that's when we are doing the majority of our park visits and that just relaxing and winding down those last 3 nights.
There will be my husband and I and we have and an almost 3yo and a 9 1/2 yo.

STAY WHERE YOU ARE! I just stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for 5 nights and it was incredible. The transportation was great and I loved the boat ride to the MK. I stopped to see the AKL and I was impressed but it was so far away from everything and the only transportation is buses. I would love to stay there eventually, but definitely prefer WL.

AKL, AKL, AKL!!!!!!
Especially if you are looking to spend more time relaxing. AKL is just like leaving WDW and entering Africa! Everyone who stays there loves it. The biggest drawback is its remoteness from some areas. But if you are winding down your trip, that is definitely the way to go! I simply can't say enough wonderful things about that place! For the small price difference, you can go savannah view. However, if you decide to save a few dollars too, there are plenty of areas for viewing the animals. Your children's ages are perfect for that resort!
Have fun either way!:)

was at wl last july, and loved it, the loby is just awsome, good places to eat, nice pool,

but maybe your children would like looking at animals, it is kinda far away from everything, but you will relax there, and looking at animals is a good way to do that

but wl isgreat loved it, and planning to go back in january

If you are looking to relax then the AKL is the place. If the $171 is in your budget then I would go for it. I cannot put into words the feeling we had watching the zebra and wilderbeast walk by. We had a very hard time pulling ourselves away from the AKL. I would save the touring of the AK and MGM parks for when you are staying at the AKL. The buses run every 20mins and we never waiting more then 10mins. They run from the AKL to the park and back again.
