ODS said for months he wanted to do Jedi Training. Now he says he doesn't because it will take too long.:confused3 Regardless, I'm planning a DHS morning so we can work it in if he changes his mind that morning. My toddlers don't enjoy shows much, so our priorities are Jedi Training (maybe), TSMM, Star Tours (possibly 2x) and Tower of Terror (if kids feel brave). DH & toddlers could ride TSMM again, visit Buzz & Woody, etc. while ODS, ODD & I ride the big rides. Then we want to hop to MK for the afternoon.

Questions (visiting October 7th, level 5 crowds):
1. Should we FP+ our DHS rides, or could we do these DHS rides without FP+ by noon (we would arrive at 8:20am) and save FP+ for MK rides?
2. If we should FP+ at DHS, can we get a 4th FP+ at MK?
3. Would you eat at DHS and then hop, or hop and eat at MK?

If you want to ride TSMM multiple times, I'd highly recommend using your FP. Then you could FP the headliners for the older ones.

As for eating, I love the DHS sit downs. sciFi is my fave lunch place.

1. That's always THE question, isn't it?
2. Yes. (And more after that one.)
3. Up to your tastes.

1. I normally always go during low crowd days (3 or 4) but even so, find the major headliners at each park will still have a line longer than we'd like to stand in (~30-40 min). How many other days are you visiting MK? I'm assuming more than that 1 afternoon so you'd already have the ability to plan for FP+ for rides that will typically have a long line, I'd schedule some FP+ in HS for that day.
2. Yes
3. Depends on how late you're planning to stay at DHS. If not past 1 or 2, I'd probably book us for a pre-RD H&V breakfast so that a) the young kids can enjoy those characters and 2) have a filling breakfast to hold us over until lunch elsewhere. If that's not an option, then I'd eat something at DHS. Not sure about your kids but mine are little demons when they're hungry so hungry kids is no enjoyable vacation.

ETA: Read on another thread that at 9am there's already a 60min wait for TSMM so without a FP+, it's unlikely you'd ride it twice. During legacy FP (ie. our trip last year), we went on a crowd day of 4, arrived to HS @ 10am, I raced to TSMM to the FP kiosk and pulled our FPs with a return time of about 5pm, the SB line was at ~80min.

1. That is tricky, because if you want to sign up for JTA you have to do it right at RD, and by the time you sign up and get to TSMM the wait will be at least 30 minutes, maybe even 60. Then if you head to ToT next that wait might be 30-60 minutes. ST should be OK. You might get lucky and the queues might be shorter. Or, you could scratch the JTA plan (since you seem ambivalent about it), head straight to TSMM at RD then ToT right after, and you should be fine without FP+ and save them for MK. :)
2. Yes.
3. Eat at DHS then hop. Two reasons: the food is better at DHS, and you want to be hopping/away from the park during the peak queue times right after lunch, not right before lunch.
