Need help w/regard to Wii and remotes

We bought DD a Wii this year for Christmas and now are looking for 2 sets of the remotes and nunchucks. I see on e-bay that there are some being sold that are not Nintendo brand but it says wii compatible. Are these just as good or would you not buy them and go with the Nintendo brand? I am clueless when it comes to video games so I'm really hoping someone can help me! TIA

We bought a non-Wii brand remote and it just didn't work as well. so we returned it (Target) and bought the real thing and it worked like it should. Spend the extra money and it will be worth it.

I would stay away from things that are not Wii products. Our system is tempermental at times with "name brand" prodcuts. The one off brand remote we bought does nto work well at all.
