Need help w/ printing magnetic paper

I'm ready to print my door sign, but the magnetic paper keeps getting stuck in the printer. What am I doing wrong? Please help! Thanks!!

Make sure you take all the paper out of your printer and put the magnet sheets in one at a time and that should take care of the problem.. If it continues you need to get some cleaner for the printer. Staples or office depot carries both ink jet and laser cleaner kits..

My printer has an adjustment for thicker paper. You may need to flip that lever if your printer has this.

jrp and Billinaz - Thanks! I'll try all your suggestions. I'm not much of a computer person. I want to surprise my family with the door signs, but if I can't figure out what's wrong, I will probably need their help. I'll ask my 13 yr old DD...she can keep a secret!

Garfield29 - Yes, we'll be on the 11/21 Wonder. There will be 8 of us (me, DH, our 5 kids, and MIL). We're arriving the Fri before and staying at Ron Jon's for a couple of nights. Will you be there too? The ages of my kids are: DD (17yrs), DD (13), DS (9), DS (5), DS (2)!! I'm counting the days....

If you still have problems print it on card stock and use magnetic strips on the back. It will look just as nice and may be easier for your printer to handle. The magnetic strips are available at craft stores and target,wal-mart, k-mart etc. Some older printers will not accept the magnetic paper...that could be your problem. Good luck!
