Hi all! My 2-1/2yo dd is doing well potty training this week. She has worn Pullups for quite a while, and we (the parents) have just been too slack about taking her potty all of the time. Well, this week, we put her in her big-girl princess panties, and she has done really well! She only has accidents when it's poopy time. However, we have been putting her in a pullup at night, and she is NOT happy with this! I feel so bad about it, but I know she would have an accident overnight.
Can anyone give me advice? What do I tell her to calm her, when she is pitching a fit about me putting a pullup on her before going to bed? HELP!!! (and thanks!!

yeah, right!
Thank goodness my dh was with me and I quickly called him on the 2way radio to find napkins/towels at once!
We'll see what happens today, when she is at home with daddy....

Can I tell you how much this story scared the beegeeesus out of me. I just started being able to sleep through the night (DD was a bad sleeper from the start and continued on from there) and now to hear that I was going to have to drag not only myself but DD out of bed to go to the potty during the night! Man, all my potty training effort ceased right then and there. I don't care, I said, he can be five and still be in diapers as long as I don't have to get up in the middle of the night anymore. Well, now back to reality, after I calmed down about this I realized its just one person's experience - mine may be different, and there is no rush to get through the night. Plus, if I think about it, I usually do get up at least once during the night to check on him and it won't last forever - there is rarely a five year old still in diapers.
That's an idea... We haven't tried that yet. We would try the panties only, but she sleeps with us & we don't want a wet bed!
