I've been reading these boards since we booked our WDW trip for February 07. The more I read, the more confused I get. Can someone please help me with a few details? I would like to plan which park to go to on each day of our visit. We'll be there from 2/3 - 2/10. However, 2/3 will be our travel day and 2/10 will be our travel back home day. So that leaves 2/4 - 2/9 to visit the parks. I also found out from these boards that the Pirates and Princess thingy is on 2/5. Does that mean MK will close early that night? Where in the world do you find the park hours? I thought with proper planning, I could go without the hopper option. Does anyone ever go with out hopping? I also thought we could take a break from the parks one day and visit my dad in a nearby town. I know we won't need the water parks or Pleasure Island. Any tips on how to structure our few days at WDW would be greatly appreciated.

We are going this september and we have been many times before. You can find the park hours on the disney website. You go to the calendar and pick the date and it will let you know everything that is going on that day in the park (parades, fireworks, etc.)
You can go do a google search for INTERCOT, it's the first one, (i can't post urls yet), and find the best days to go the parks. I would recommend if possible to stay away from any park that has EMH that day. Don't go to MK during the weekend (I learned that from experience). Any dining reservations I would make ahead of time. There are many awesome places to eat in all of the parks. I hope this helps. :thumbsup2

Park hours aren't out for Feb. yet, but they should be shortly since Jan. is out already. You can also find park hours here on the DIS homepage at www.wdwinfo.com They include fireworks and parade times as well. You may want to consider signing up for TourGuide Mike, his "best days" tips are invaluable, as are his touring tips and other information. You can also check out www.touringplans.com for information on historic crowd patterns, and which parks to avoid on certain days, sample touring plans, etc. As far as the Pirates and Princesses event, I would keep an eye on www.allearsnet.com
for more information. Deb is usually pretty up to date with their information.
Hope this helps, and happy planning!

Thanks so much for the help. I'll definately try the other places. I was beginning to think February was The Twilight Zone, as I could not find any information on it, I didn't think about it not being released yet. Thanks again.
