Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie here. I just moved here from Belgium from California a little over a month ago and we are going to Disneyland Paris (Yeah!) for the first time over the May 16th weekend. We are planning on leaving Friday am via car and returning on the evening of May 18th. We are a family of 4 (2 children ages 5 and 2). We are staying in a 2bedroom unit at the Marriott Resort (hubby is a Marriott gold member).

Our rate at the Marriott is 173 euro's per night.

I need some feedback on the following:

1. I heard that if you buy an annual passport that you get a children's passport free. Is this true??

2. I'm debating on purchasing a Francillien at 89 euro or the Fantasy at 129 euros. If we do the Francillien, then we can only go to Disney 1 day, then spend the rest of the time on property. Then we can always go back later and take the kids on that fun train ride to the park later... What are your thoughts on this?

3. The total price for 2nights at the Marriott, 2Francillien is: 525 euro's. Or if we do the Fantasy: it's 605 euros. Is this a good price compared to the Disney all inclusive pkges??

4. My 2 year old turns 3 in November, but can I say she's 3 so I can get the free passport for her (if #1 is true), so I can take her again on the passport after November.

Thanks so much in advance!

Sorry for all the q's, but I'm finding it difficult to book the best travel options here...

Hi konajo, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:
1. I heard that if you buy an annual passport that you get a children's passport free. Is this true??
Yes, you can get one child's free passport for each adult one that you buy. This offer is available for children aged under 7.

Have you taken into consideration the extra discounts you'll get with the Fantasy? 10% off dining, plus free parking in the main car park plus less black-out days.

4. My 2 year old turns 3 in November, but can I say she's 3 so I can get the free passport for her (if #1 is true), so I can take her again on the passport after November.
Unfortunately not, they will ask to see passports so will see the age of your DD.

5. Lastly (thank goodness) what are the details of the sponsorship offer and is anyone willing to sponsor us??
There's a sponsorship thread running here. You can't combine the free child offer with sponsorship.....but you could always buy one adult pass and get the free one for your 5 year old. Your DH could then buy his pass separately with a sponsor so he would get 10% off. Then after November when your DD is three, he could sponsor her.

Hope this helps. :goodvibes

Hi konajo and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Elaine has answered all your questions but wanted to add that remember that the Francillien can not be used for day 2 and day 3 once it has been activated. As you are only going for 2 nights the Fantasy AP would probably be a better choice :)
