Need help! Trying to make payment!

So, I officially booked my WDW vacation last Friday (9/11), and only paid the deosit. I tried to go online today to make another payment, but it says....Remaining Balance: We're sorry. Detail payment information is not available at this time. Please try again later.

I have a friend who is also planning a trip (she booked much earlier and her trip is a different date....only giving this info in case it's relevant somehow) and she logged on and her Remaining Balance info is showing. So I'm freaking out about why mine isn't!

Has this happened to anyone before? Is it just because it takes a while to process since I just booked the trip less than a week ago? Or probably something random I shouldn't worry about?

What do you suggest doing? I really want to make a payment, but prefer not to have to call to do so. Just want to know why I'm getting that message....so please let me know if you have any insight!

Is your reservation a room-only or a package? I don't think you can make payments on a room-only online.
 

I had this same issue for weeks leading up to my final payment due date. The same message you mentioned was always there, and I was unable to make the payment. Eventually we just had to call to make the payment and that worked jut fine. If I log in now to see ... it says the same thing, even though we're fully paid and have the e-mail receipt from Disney.
 
You don't have to actually talk to a cast member to make a payment over the phone. It's all automated and very easy.

So if I have to call to make a payment, they still send an email reciept with the balance still due?

It makes me really anxious that it isn't just showing up online!! I worry that somehow there will be a problem down the line since the info isn't showing up online...

Yes, they will e-mail you all necessary documents.
 
OP, I'm having exactly the same issues (and the same concerns!). I like the control of being able to verify the outstanding balance and make payment on my own, online. However, I've seen this message on my account for weeks, so I finally called yesterday to make payment. It went through, and I received a confirmation email today. No issues! Good luck!

Exact same thing as me! I also finally called to make a payment. It makes me sad though...I really wanted to be able to pay online! Guess now I will be calling to make a payment every other week...!
