Ok, we're back from WDW for 3 whole days and DH mentions (while at WDW) that he'd like to come back soon (glory, alleluia!).

So, here's what we're wondering -- when is the best of the following times to go back to WDW?

The weeks after Thanksgiving and before Christmas.

February - any time of the month is open.

May - preferably during Star Wars Week but any time will do.

We'd like nice weather (not the rain we had the entire trip this time around) but it doesn't have to be hot, hot, hot. Just sunshine and preferably little rain!!! I know there are always crowds, but is there any time when crowds are lower on those dates!? TIA for your advice/input/opinions! If there is a month/time that is better than those I've given, plmk! I am flexible on this!!!!

They're all good times to go but I think I'd pick the time between THGVING and Christmas. It's extra beautiful at WDW at that time of the year. All the Christmas decorations are up.This use to be a really slow time but it's more popular now.

Sometimes May can be hot,hot hot! I've never been during Feb but I do know to avoid Presidents weekend that month!

Feb can be cold. It can be warm, but it can be long pants and jackets all week cold.

Thanks for the input! The long pants and jackets wouldn't bother us b/c in Feb. we're usually buried under lots of snow! Walking around in jackets wouldn't be a bad thing!

I'd love to hear more opinions, though! The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are starting to sound good -- what is the weather like then!? Thanks for all the advice!

I read that in the past the second or third week in September (a full week after Labor Day) is the least crowded. I don't know if that will be the case this year.

If the cold doesn't bother you (we are from Minnesota, so I understand, 50 degree highs and running around in a sweatshirt and jeans still beats the parka), the first week in Feb has very low crowds. But with low crowds you give up some stuff. Park hours are shorter. Parades/Fireworks/Special Events are fewer. Popular attractions are often closed for rehab.

As does the Early December, but the same caveats apply. Plus you get Christmas decorations
