My dad and her boyfriend are planning a trip to Orlando in Feb over Presidents Week. I would like to buy their tickets as a Christmas present. Can I purchase them along with an Express Pass even if I don’t know the “exact” days they will use them? Or do you need to reserve specific days?

I am trying to make sure their time is maximized during a busy week. They are not staying onsite either…hotel already set because they are doing Disney too.

Thanks for any advice!

Some tickets have expire dates, so be careful whatever tickets you decide to buy.

And while express pass is good for a day of one each time through the express line, it is for a specific day and for a park or both parks, with no refunds after purchasing. Hence, they can always buy it everywhere in the parks if they think they may need it. Single rider may help if they are fine without being together on a ride. Plus, getting to the park before it opens, and can ride the two coasters in Islands with shorter lines when the park first opens. Will help they have their tickets, as they can go right to the entry turnstiles.

Very nice presents. I’m sure they will be happy to enjoy the parks.

Thanks! So I guess we have to know the actual days for both the tickets and express passes. What a pain. I miss just going on vacation and doing what you wanted, when you wanted. Too regimented now.

The price of express depends on how busy the park will be that day. You need the exact date you want to use it. For example we went in April and express would have been around $200 each!
