I posted this on the families board, but didn't seem to get much response. I'm hoping the creative board might be able to help!!

Ok guys, I need some help. DH just gave the OK to book the Poly for this Sept-Oct. 8 nights!!! I want to do something special to tell my boys (6 & 3) They have been asking a lot lately about going back, so I thought it would be fun to do something different- like maybe a scavenger hunt with clues leading to the "big surprise". What I'd like from you guys is some different clues, maybe using props. I'm not very good at writing little lymrics.
Here are some of their disney interests:

pin trading
Star Wars ride
Goofy's Barnstormer
anything Mickey
Jungle Book
Splash Mountain
Kali River Rapids
we call DH Goofy
teasing DS6 about how much he "loves" ToT
(we have several plush characters to help w/ clues - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Baloo, Mogli, Kaa, Brer rabbit, Eeyore)

I know there are lots of creative Dissers out there! Please help!!

My girls were older when we surprised them, but I'll tell you what we did. We did a scavenger hunt too with a theme of "household chores." The clues were things like "Do the dishes," and the next clue was on the dish detergent, "Sweep the floor," taped to the broom, etc. At each step they got a piece of the puzzle, which were "U", "R", a picture of a plane, "2", "C", a picture of Mickey. It was very fun, and because the theme of the hunt had nothing to do with Disney they were totally surprised when they solved the puzzle.

I like how New England Eeyore totally shocked her kids; I feel like if you use Disney toy props they might catch on before the final reveal.
My SIL, to surprise her kids just told them that they were in "big trouble" and that she needed to talk to them downstairs. When they came down, she said she wrote their punishment on the computer-- when they looked at the screen, it was the plane confirmation page to Orlando!
For each of their interests, maybe you could hide boxes in several rooms of the house, each containing something that symbolizes their interests. Once they've gathered all of them, at the final spot could be a box or basket of the plushes.
Things to put in boxes:
pin trading: sewing pin cushion
Star Wars ride: a Star Wars figurine
Goofy's Barnstormer: a figurine of a barn
anything Mickey: Home Depot Mickey Paint Chip
Jungle Book: a leaf
Splash Mountain: bottle of water
Kali River Rapids: more water?
we call DH Goofy: hmmm not too sure about this
teasing DS6 about how much he "loves" ToT: a hotel key? Do you ever keep those swipe keys?
