I am sorry to post this AGAIN, I have in the past..I am just desperado tonight..

Last year I fell and hurt my back. Diagnosis was a back sprain..It has come and gone since last August. Right now I am crying tears of pain, it hurts so badly:sad1: ..I don't mean to sound childish, and can really take a lot, but this is awful..

I have my kids and DH is working, and nobody is around..What do you all think? Should I just relax, take a bath, heating pad? Does it warrant a trip to the hospital? I just can not fathom going..I have no car, no babysitter, the list goes on..

I guess I need a miracle..Help:confused: :goodvibes

I'm sorry to hear you are in so much pain.

Maybe some Aleve or Advil, a warm bath followed by a heating pad might help.

Feel better soon.

Oh, Mommasita, I'm so sorry!

I injured my back 3 years ago, and it still gives me fits sometimes.

I keep a bottle of muscle relaxers on hand, and go to a massage therapist regularly. The massages were the things that helped the most!

Feel better soon!

Oh no!
I was in a bad car accident a few years ago and still suffer from back pain. Only occasionally does it get so bad that I have tears.
I also have muscle relaxers on hand because sometimes that is the only thing that helps me. I hate it, but I have to take one and just sleep it off.
A lot can be said for Advil, heating pads and a nice hot bath though.
The sad thing is that I don't think the hospital would even help if you went. What I would do though is talk to your regular doctor and tell them that this is going on and you need some relief.
I am so sorry that it's hurting so badly! I hope you start to feel better!

Thank you all. I just took a BLASTING hot bath, and it does help..Heat helps, so it must be muscular..

I think I will sit on the couch, or lie there, and watch HOCKEY. As that is the all around Canadian cure..lol.

Thanks for the sympathy, I think I needed it.:grouphug:

Oh I'm so sorry!!!! If it gets that bad again, to where you are crying, I would say go ahead and go to the hospital. At least they can give you a shot and some muscle relaxors.

 I am so sorry for your pain. Know what you are going through and a heating pad and just sitting in a lounge chair is the only thing to do. It will just take time for your back to feel better. Wish that I could help with the little ones.

Something that works for me is advil & heating pad. I was in a car accident when I was 17, 30 years ago. I also am a physical therapist aide, so I do alot of stretching, with back exercises. Swimming works wonders for back pain. Massage therapy is wonderful, I try to have one session a month (all I can afford)
Hope you feel better.

I was just gonna say swimming.. everything I have read is that this helps. That stretching, swimming and advil helps. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks..I did not know about the shot..I will see tomorrow..School is out for 5 days, so a little easier, although i work tomorrow..My mom is watching the kids, so if I am not better, I am go to see..
