Need Help QUICK! US AIR ERJ Jet-which seats??

I'm booking some seats with USAir and need some help with a good seat selection for one of their Express flights. Is seat 1A a good one for that flight or something back further?

I have never flown on that type of equipment, but generally the first seat on the aircraft are sought after for the legroom, the flip side of that is there is no seat in front of you to store your carryon bag and being close to the exit the overhead bins may be full of things the Flight Attendants use... Take a look at www.seatguru.com and see what they think about it.

I don't like 1A on an ERJ. there is little extra room in front of you. There is a wall in front of you. No seat in front of you to stretch your legs under. No bin close to store your belonings. Also the galley is literaly right next to you. So it is a bit noisy when the FA is setting up the drink cart. I would pick exit row before 1A.

Thanks for the super-fast replies! I picked a seat in the wing section as the guru site listed it as the only "good" seat on the plane-lol!

As you discovered from seatguru, pretty much all the seats on the ERJ stink. I hate those planes... The CRJs are nicer, bigger & quieter. Be forewarned that this is a very narrow little plane. I saw a lady almost have a panic attack when she saw what she was getting into, the poor thing.
