When looking for a rental, stick with VRBO or homeaway, or the specific site of the community you are looking to rent in if you have a preference. The management or marketing companies like Florida Sun Vacation Homes or Villa Direct are featuring many of the same properties, only you will pay more because they are taking a commission from the owner. Not saying there is anything wrong with dealing with a rental company, but there are plenty of private owners out there who are extremely accessible and very accomodating. I just hate to see people overpay for things when they could get something just as good or better if they took a few more minutes to look around.
