Hi there

We are choosing to brave MK on NYE. We have adr's at Ohana's at 855am (could not get earlier, tried repeatedly)

What is a realistic time to be lining up at the turnstiles in MK? I hear it can take time to get seated at Ohana's, so we are planning on all 10 checking in at 830am.

Our expectations are in check for the MK that day. In fact we have ADR's at 1900 park fare at 5pm and will watch the earlier fireworks from outside the MK. We are figuring we will do our 3 fastpasses, enjoy a few shops, and just soak it all in.

But I am not sure what time to book those fastpasses for, and I am not sure what time we should be walking out of the front gates to the monorail for Grand Floridian for dinner.

Right now we are thinking 12-1p Space Mountain; 1-2pm Buzz Lightyear, 2-3pm Jungle Cruise. We are hoping for turn on the people mover as well.

But would 1130 or 11 be realistic for 1st fastpass with Breakfast at Ohana's ? I am figuring we will be at the table a good hour.

I believe we will do bag check before getting on Monorail at the Poly for MK, which means we can go right to turnstiles when we arrive, but how long realistically before we scan and go in?

anyone have photos of the line up from NY last year to get in? and what walking in the park looked like?

With an 8:55 ADR and a party of 10, I would count on getting out of there between 10:15-10:30 (depending on when you're actually seated). I would allow extra time at the resort monorail or boat to get over to MK, because there will likely be a line at that time on NYE. I'd guess that you'd be at the turnstiles between 10:45-11:15. I would plan your first FP for noon. 11:30 or 11 might be making you guys have to rush, and you don't want that on NYE. Turnstiles will have lines and walking through the initial bottleneck on main street could take some time and patience. I'd try scheduling the first from 12 to 1, the next from 1 to 2, and the last from 2 to 3. You should be able to get in a ride on the peoplemover between your last two FP+ times. The line looks insanely long but it moves at a decent pace. To make your 5:00 ADR at GF, I'd be at the resort line monorail no later than 4:15 pm. I'm not saying it will take 45 minutes to get to GF but the monorail on NYE can be an adventure. It's much better to get to GF early and walk around the resort than to feel stressed when the monorail breaks down or loading takes forever at the Contemporary.
