Need help please....Orange Blossom and Fiesta Key areas

Darn pregnancy dreams.

I had a dream I got mugged last night and now I am freaking out. I have not been able to find a whole lot online about Fiesta Key. That is where we are staying. Anyone know how the safety is in the area?

Also, I read that sections of Orange Blossom Tr is very bad. We are supposed to stay at the Baymont just off the turnpike our first night down there. Should I change it or is that section of OBT ok?

We leave Friday and now I started having these dreams....I forgot about this part of pregnancy

I don't know anything about Fiesta Key, so can't help there.

As for the Baymont, I'd never stay in one, regardless of where they are. On/near/just off the OBT, never. Nope. No way.

Can't help with Fiesta Key, but I ditto the previous poster on the Baymont.

I mapped it and I'm familiar with the area as I get my car serviced very near there.

It's an awful area of Orlando. Lots of the motels in this area are semi-permanent homes for transients, prostitutes, and druggies.
