Need help please;DH needs to update his resume!

Haven't needed to do this in ten years and have no idea on whats "in". Anyone with websites, examples etc....

Anyone with experience having a "professional'" do this?

You could try hotjobs.com to create a resume with their Resume Builder templates. That's what I did.

Check out different options mybe you could get done for free. I know we have somthing call the Southeast Career Center which run by the State of TN that helps people find jobs, updates, and retrain people all for free. That my be option for him

Whatever format you decide upon, make sure there are no typos. Lots of recruiters will go on to the next resume if they find these kinds of mistakes, as they are evidence of sloppy work. I've done it for certain jobs and all of my networking colleagues in HR have as well.

Thanks all! I'ts for a "higher" position in the company he works for and the last person who applied literally handed in a porfollio with an index and tabs .

But...she did have one typo and it was picked up by the entire group who interviewed her.


Whats better short and to the point or a novel?? He has quite the experience and to write it all down would be many pages.....
