Hi,
My wife and I are planning on going to Universal Studios on 12/10. We will get there right at opening and will have a car. My question is, I want to make a dinner reservation at Epcot for around 6:30 that night. I don't know how long it takes to get from one park to another, but if we left at around 4:30, do you think we would have plenty of time to get to Epcot and not feel like we rushed through the park? This will be the only day we go to Universal, we will be going to IOA another day. Thanks.

No Problem.

Crowds are light in early December. I-4 is much better now that they've got all lanes working. You take I-4 South to the Disney exits and you're there in about 20 minutes.

This is actually a no brainer. You spend the day at USF in the morning, enjoy your time, then leave at noon and drive to Epcot. Arrive at about 3pm, the tired will be leaving. Go in and enjoy the park.

1-4pm is rush hour at the parks. That's when you want to be eating lunch and resting at your hotel room. You check into the hotel room at the next place, and crash for a couple hours. Then wake up refreshed and ready to go.

if you're there at opening you'll be able to see the majority of everything at a nice pace. it helps that it's a slower time of year. if you leave at 4:30, you'll miss the Macy's parade.

UO and Epcot aren't that far apart, but it takes about 15 minutes to get from US to your car in the deck. it's about 15 minutes to Epcot from there, but then you've got to walk all the way back to World Showcase for dinner.

it looks like a pretty relaxed day.
