We are visiting the Magic Kingdom for two days in March before we go to Sanibel Island. This is our first to Disney and I'm so excited for our 3 & 4 year olds!!!

I'm conflicted with which hotel to stay at...
Do I risk loosing precious time by staying at a value resort like AMA or splurge and stay at a closer deluxe resort?

I'd love all ideas from veterans!!! Thank you!!

I don't think staying at AoA would cause you to loose time. We stay at POP all the time and its not that far of a ride. We did one park day at MK in May and got to do a lot. Just depends on how much money you want to spend. If you are going to also have some resort time to spend at the pool AoA has a really nice pool and splash area and its at a cheaper price compared to the others.

We are fans of Music being smaller, but have stayed at Pop several times too. For the few days you won't be in the room much any way to upgrade to a moderate.i have not been happy with the distance to reach everything at a moderate, especially if taking the grandchildren.

I think you'll be fine with any WDW resort, but if your budget will allow you to do a deluxe, I'd stay at the Contemporary. It's great to be able to walk to and from MK and not worry about the bus or monorail.
