I have a 5 year old DD and a 2 year old DD. I'm wondering what I should choose for our fast passes for Magic Kindgom. So far I have 2 MK days and got an extra FP+ for both days. I'm not worried about the big rides, the only one I think my 5 year old might try is Splash Mountin.

But, heres what I have so far....

DAY 1: Little Mermaid ride, enchanted tales with Belle, Peter Pan, and the Princess M&G.

DAY 2: Pooh ride, barnstormer, and Mickey Mouse M&G. (Still need 1 more... Tea cups? Buzz Lightear? Dumbo? I heard that Dumbo has a playground thing while you wait so I didn't know if we'd need one for that?)

But i also read that Mickey never has too long of a line... Should I change that one? What about the princesses? Anything I should change?
Any help would be great!! :) We leave in 8 days, I'm soooo excited!!! :D

Peter Pan is one of our favorites. I would do that and Little Mermaid on both days. Seriously. Dumbo was awesome too. The new ride is beautiful.

Peter Pan is the only one that I have ever seen run out of fast passes early. And regularly. That's the only one I think you need need need.

I wouldn't count out the big rides with a 5 y/o. My dd's favorite rides since she was 5 is Rock n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. When are you going? Peter Pan will be going down for refurb soon - I know it's closed when we are there. My FP+ for MK is Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain RR one day and Buzz, Pooh and Enchanted Tales w/ Belle the other.

I would go with a Peter Pan FP+ on both days, and then save your other FP+ selections for things that don't have regular FP. For the time you're going, the crowds are so light that you're going to find you don't need FP much at all, but it might come in handy for things that don't currently have a FP line. Like if your kids like Ariel, then I'd book her grotto with FP+, because there is no regular FP line for her so getting to "skip the line" for her is a definite benefit to FP+. ETWB is another good FP+ selection. Mickey rarely has a long line and his regular FPs are disconnected from the system, which means you can pull a FP for him and not be time barred from pulling another one immediately, so I wouldn't waste a FP+ on him. You're lucky in that in the time you're going, there really is no need for FP for the most part because the lines aren't long anyway.

Once the Princess Fairytale Hall opens on Sept 18, it will take 2 FP+s to meet everyone. One for Cinderella and friend, one for Rapunzel an friend.

DD5 loved the Little Mermaid ride so much last year that I will be scheduling a FP+ for each visit to the MK this year.

My DD is 4 and here is what we picked:

* Peter Pan for each day. Seriously, I'm never waiting 40+mins for this short little ride. But it is adorable and a classic - excellent use of a FP. I did this one day figuring I'll do regular FP for this a different day.
* The new Princess Fairytale Hall - Rapunzel side. Her favorite princess and it will be great to see it. But using this only on one of our days.
* Enchanted Tales with Belle. Not sure your travel dates but this one tends to be pretty consistently 30mins or more until later in the evening. So you might want to do this on only one day. I don't think your DDs will want to do it more than once but I could be wrong. My DD really enjoyed it but was ready to do more stuff instead of going back.
* Splash Mountain. Even if your DD5 doesn't think the train looks fun, my DD LOVES splash because it really is more like a dark ride than an adventure, thrill ride. She would ride this all day if she could. So I used this one for both days.
* Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - you could book at FP for this if you wanted and can change it if she doesn't think she wants to go on this. Sadly, DD2 will be a bit too short for both of these rides so you might want to just do the Splash version and then get back to more things that you can all ride together. But if your older DD is a thrill ride seeker, you can always pull the traditional FP for this one while you ride Splash and play it by ear.

Otherwise, the Mickey M&G is usually REALLY low lines and you can do traditional FP for this one. I'd skip it. The princesses are usually much, much longer. I'd probably switch that one to Princesses. And my kids think the Dumbo queue is part of the ride so I'd hate to FP out of that. But you can always do a regular FP for either that or Barnstormer while you are over there so you get to ride both quickly. But I would probably wait on Dumbo and FP Barnstormer.

And then there is the Little Mermaid ride. DD likes the M&G for Ariel, but nothing like that ride. It is really, really a favorite of hers. So I did FP+ for that for one day in the afternoon when the line gets long, but very easy to do quickly and easily if you go to Fantasyland in the AM. Really only necessary in the afternoon.

Good luck! Anything you choose will be so much fun for your girls! Have a great trip! (and sorry for the too much information......)

I completely agree with this - Peter Pan is the only ride that FP was needed for during our trip this last week. Crowd levels are so low that everything was a short wait or walk on with the exception of PP. Using FP+ for the attractions that do not have regular FP like ETWB & Ariel's M&G makes a lot of sense if your kids are into those attractions.

I don't think you will need fast passes for The Little Mermaid and Barnstormer. The lines tend to be short this time of year. I would do Peter Pan again or maybe add Buzz Lightyear which can sometimes have a little longer wait.
