We are going to Disney in December for 9 nights :cool1: and we are going into the parks for 5 days, we have 4 water parks and more on the tickets, how would you plan your days? We also want to go to the Ocean and go swimming, and spend some days at the resort pools and go shopping and DTD
needless to say I need some planning help
This is how it will go:
Day 1 (Wednesday December 6th) AKL
Day 2 (Thursday 7th) AKL
Day 3 (Friday 8th) move to poly
Day 4 (Saturday 9th) Poly
Day 5 (Sunday 10th) Poly
Day 6 (Monday 11th) move to Old Key west
Day 7 (Tuesday 12th) OKW
Day 8 (Wednesday 13th) OKW
Day 9 (Thursday 14th) OKW
Day 10 (Friday 15th) fly home

Would you do, park day then off and keep going that way or do 2 & 2 or what do you think??

THANKS!

Hi from Florida! I'd say you're off to a good start!

Now that you know which resorts you'll be staying at, decide which parks you'll be going to. Make your ADR's as soon as possible, to get that out of the way. If you have time to plan and like to plan, then go ahead and start deciding which shows you want to see, which rides you don't want to miss, if you're doing any character dining meals, etc...

We find that doing a park one day then taking a day off to just hang around the resort or go to DTD is less hectic and more relaxing. We usually walk so much at the parks that we like a rest the day after. If we feel good in the evening, we'll go back in the park for a while.

Water parks? Make sure you find out when they close, because they usually close for a month in the winter, for refurbishment.
And the water is heated in the winter too, so that'll be nice for you.

Have you been to www.allearsnet.com? You can learn a lot about the resorts and what extras they have to offer, to help you plan activities like boat rentals, the campfire program at Ft. Wilderness, carriage rides etc...

Have fun! You've got lots of time to plan, but you know how Disney is, make sure you have your resort reservations ASAP and dining reservations as soon as you can. :thumbsup2
