Hi all,

I am new to these boards but I am a regular at other Disney boards. Here is my dilemna.I am in the army and I was sent overseas for a few months but had to come back due to situations beyond my control, just in time to be sent overseas again this coming May/June. When I get back, sometime in 2005, (1 year after I leave) I want to treat my wife to an ultimate dream Disney vacation. The reason why I am thinking of planning it now is because it is virtually impossible to plan anything out when you are deployed.

Money will be no option (up to 12k to 15k) so I am curious as to what you would consider an ultimate dream vacation so I can start planning now . Thanks in advance for your help.

Since money no object then I would go with one WDW delxue hotels. BeachClub Villas would excellent choice. Stormbay is out this world.

Eat at WDW higher prices food places. I woulld get a AP tickets to make the trip 10 days. Downtown Disney is a shoppers dream.
Spent days relaxing at the resort around the pool for a couple days.

I sure alot more people will come along give you there dream vacation ideas.

Lets see dream trip to Disney...

Stay two weeks at Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge, do the Sunrise Safari.

Renew wedding vowes.

Breakfast in room a couple of times. Also PS's for Boma, Jiko
Victoria and Alberts, Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian, among others.

Complete massage, facial, manicure, pedicure at one of the spas.

Carriage ride w/champagne.

Backstage Magic Tour, and maybe a few other tours.

Illuminations Cruise, or any of the cruises they happen to offer.

There is so much to see and do in Disney. I would call Disney directly and ask if there is someone who could help put together
the perfect vacation. Good luck with you planing.

If money is no object, then I would definitely call a travel agent & tell her everything you've said on the Boards. Let her do the planning & have a great time with your wife when you get there.
You'll deserve it. :D

We went on a dream disney trip this year for the first time with our friends. I figured if we were going to disney we would do it well so money was not an object either. We made sure we ate at nice restaurants each night (our favourite being the yachtsmans steak house at the Yacht club (we ate there 3 times!!) We stayed in the Beach club villas which were amazing. I loved the proximity to Epcot and MGM. We had a few days out of the parks, went to swim with dolphins at discovery cove (highly recommended), went to the Kennedy Space Centre and did some shopping at the Mall of the millenia (where I was treated to a georgeous dress from bloomingdales!) I would recommend you do have time to relax as well as looking at the parks and water parks. Stormalong bay at the beach club is very relaxing. I would also recommend phoning disney to help with the planning. We found the DVC people to be really helpful in planning ours.
Have a great trip.

We did an anniversary trip in October & ate at Yachtsman 2X in 4 nights!!! We loved it & took our 3 DD's back there in November. It's our new favorite Disney restaurant.

Yes, Stormalong Bay at the Beach/Yacht Club is the very best pool on the whole property. I highly recommend one of these resorts or renting points from a DVC owner to stay at the Beach Club Villas. Actually, if you have your choice between the BC or YC stay on the YC side - much quieter & every room has a balcony! :D

I think you mean, money is no object. If it were no option, then your trip to Disney would be impossible! ;)

If you do use a travel agent (I wouldn't) I would make sure that I used one who specializes in Disney travel. (Like Small World Travel.) The reason is that most travel agents don't know half of what the regulars on this board know about Disney. You've come to the right place. However, I really don't think you have to spend nearly that much money to have a fabulous time at WDW. You've been given some great ideas already.
