Need help picking June dates

My friends are looking at going either June 7-9 or June 28th to the 30th. Which do you suggest as the lesser of two evils? I was concerned the first week had Soarin' reopening and the So Cal Select APs blocked out on the 10th and then two of the days are grad nights. But the second set has more people out of school and the SoCal APs being blocked out right after. Does anyone have any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hmmmm... Personally, I think I'd go for the earlier dates because groups of grads seem easier to deal with than the whole school out for summer. Plus it may be a bit cooler at the beginning of the month- but I suspect that is wishful thinking and that Cali is already in summertime temps by June!

But some people really dislike Grad Night atmosphere. I would say if your friends have teenage children or are frequently around teenagers they are much less likely to get annoyed by Grad Night crowds. Cause you remember- teenagers are young and exuberant and carefree, which sometimes translates to loud, unruly and obnoxious! Do your friends have kids or is it to be an adult only trip?

They have a 15 year old and 6 year old twins. Is Grad night at both parks or just DL?

Grad Night itself is only in DCA, but the attendees do have park hopper tickets so you'll see them in both parks during the day.
