Actually I can't narrow any of them down. This year is impossible. We are doing a, hold on to your chairs, non park trip for Christmas. Well not really we are taking the kids to Universal but we decided to not to the Disney parks. We are staying at AKV though. So far we have

1900PF for BF
Trex dinner
Boma BF
Cape May Cafe BF
Ohana Dinner
Captains Grill BF

I have 3 more nights where we are not doing some cheesy dinner show or definatly at Universal. I have no clue what to do for those nights. I am looking at Kona, Chef Mickeys, and Whispering Canyon Cafe. But we did WCC last year so I am not sure on that.

Soooo give me some other really good resort or DTD restaurants. Specifically for Christmas Eve. We have 3 kids 9, 8, and 7. THey love all things edible, with the exeption of our 7 yo who is a little picky but mainly with textures but there is something on any kids meal that will make her happy. They are very well behaved when dining out so a signature meal is not out of the questions I am kind of leaning towards one since next trip I would like to try a few of them.

TIA from a very frustrated trip planner!

We enjoyed Gullivers at the Swan on Christmas Day a few years back,,,,food was great and not hectic. Pluto was there and I *think* Goofy, but not 100% sure...there were only 2 characters but it was fine...they came around the entire time we were there. Also, if you have AAA it beleive you can get 20% off, which helps a lot!

A good choice for a Christmas day dinner is WCC. They still have the all you can eat skillet, but it is a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, ham, dressing and all the trimmings and the atmosphere is second to none. A Christmas eve choice would be a resort where they have lots of Christmas activities going on from 6-9. This way you could eat and then relax and enjoy the festivities. WL has awesome entertainment on Christmas eve but if you went to 1900 Park fair at the Grand Floridian and had a 5 dinner reservation then you could enjoy activites at the GF and then you could visit DD after that. Have fun!

We did WCC last year for Christmas Dinner. We are doing Ohana for Christmas dinner we hope. We have friends of ours joining us that day and all the kids said thats what they wanted to thats where we are going. 1900 PF I have on my list for Christmas Eve. Although we are not doing the parks I can't be that close to Winnie the Pooh and not see him so that one is for me LOL.

How is Flying Fish? My kids saw the menu and it really appealed to them. Would that be a good choice?

Way too many choices even with being limited to resorts and DTD.

I tried getting a dinner WCC ressie but they only had one at 9:55 P.m. so I took a 12:00 noon ressie for lunch. Do you suppose lunchtime would have the special skillet with Christmas dinner?

About 3 years ago we did Yachtsman for Christmas dinner, It was fabulous. The food was great. It was set up expecially for Christmas, not the regular menu, it was on the quiet side, the resort was beautifully decorated..can't say enough.

Actually if I remember, i think that they do have the Christmas dinner all day long from noon till closing

I have heard good things about Kona and Chef Mickeys, but haven't tried either myself. We are trying the Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner one night. You might try to hit the deluxes so you can see all the fab Christmas decorations. Like the chocolate carousel.

Just an idea. I see you already have the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and AKL covered. I have heard that the WL is just beautiful all decked out for Christmas.

Happy Planning!
