I printed the recipe for the ooey gooey toffee cake from here on the DIS. In the section for the crut it listes-1 box yellow cake mix, 1 egg and 1/4 cup butter (1 stick). Well, a 1/4 cup is 1/2 a stick of butter and a whole stick is 1/2 a cup. I think it would be too dry with only half a stick of butter. Has anyone made this recipe and what did you use? Also, how did it taste compared to the one they serve at LTT?

I always use one stick of butter. Look up Paula Deen's recipe, that's the one I use (and it has different flavor variations).
