My friends are leaving today to drive down to Anaheim. They will be at Disneyland Mon-Wed. They were going to use Ridemax, but couldn't get it to download on their computer.

I need some sort of generic ride order to help them out...it's going to be BUSY BUSY there next week, and I want their trip to be great.

If we had the money for it, I would download Ridemax and get some itineraries for them, but I can't right now.

Your help is much appreciated!

best bet is to take full advantage of the fastpass system getting fastpasses for every ride that uses them and hit the fantasyland rides early or late in the day or the lines will be super long.

Here's a basic list:

Rides to do either really early (8AM-10AM) or really late (10PM-12AM) because lines are huge during the middle of the day:
-Peter Pan
-Dumbo
-Alice
-Finding Nemo (preferably later rather than earlier)
-Matterhorn
-Space (FP)
-Indy (FP)
-Splash (FP)

Rides to do during the heat of the day (12PM-4PM) because lines move quickly or are usually very short. Do NOT waste morning touring time on these!:
-Pirates
-Haunted Mansion
-Winnie-the-Pooh
-Snow white
-Pinocchio
-Mark Twain Riverboat/Davy Crocket's Canoes/Sailing Ship Columbia

Rides that they should pick up FPs for (this is my priority order):
1. Space
2. Indy
3. Splash
4. Big Thunder
5. Buzz
6. Roger Rabbit (although RR has a disconnected FP system, meaning you can pick up a set of FPs even if you are already holding onto a set from another ride)
7. Autopia (don't waste a FP here!)

If they are going to DCA, I wouldn't recommend hopping until maybe noon or later. DCA never gets as crowded as DL so you want to maximize your early touring time at DL, not DCA. Another tip is that the Grizzly River Run FP machines are disconnected just like Roger Rabbit. The two park FP systems are also not connected to each other. I'm not sure if I explained that clearly enough. Read Hydroguy's FP tips. They're much more clear.

Hydroguy had a great response last week to the best order to get your Fastpasses. I will try to look for the thread but he may beat me to it.

Read HydroGuy's tips on the sticky thread at the top of the page. He has most of the basics right there, as good or better than RideMax.
