Need Help on rescind

Is there a form I need to fill out. I have the address to send it to,But is it better to fax the letter first and then follow up and send the letter. Please help , I want to get this done today.TIA
 
I would call Member Administration to verbally let them know you wish to rescind your purchase and ask if there is a fax number to submit a written notice or if they would prefer snail mail. If using USPS, I would send it Certified/Return Receipt Requested.

My personal preference would be the phone call and the Certified Letter so you will have legal documentation that you sent and they received the rescission letter.

You need to read your contract docs and recinds exactly as its stated in there. Good luck!
 
Do as Doc suggested -- call Member Administration (same number, different prompt) and follow their guidance.

DVC is not going to jerk you around with hair-splitting technicalities. A phone call alone may be sufficient; if not they'll tell you how to send the written recission notification.

Don't sweat it, but do it NOW.
 

Called MS and told them I needed to change my reservation and that I was rescinding my Second contract, that told me to call QA.
I wrote up a letter and made a copy of purchase agreement and faxed it in. Less than 3 mins, and QA called me about the cancellation and about my refund.
I told them That I have also mailed a copy of everything out (and I have a confirmed delivery of letter). They told me when I would get my refund in less than 2 weeks, but make sure I check my account to see if all of my points are correct.

Great! Thanks for the update. Disney does have the legal responsibility to act on a rescission request in prompt fashion and it sounds as though are good about honoring that responsibility.

Are you still considering a VGF purchase instead of AKV? :)
