DH was just asked by a neighbor about parking fees at WDW. They [neighbors] were told; “If you are staying on property and you have a car and drive you can park for free.” Now we know that you can visit the other resorts/hotels with the hotel parking pass in the windshield and not pay to park because we have done it many times. However the question is; Can one park at the “Parks” free if one has a valid hotel parking pass in the car?

yes, as long as you have your "home" resort parking pass in the car, and the dates of stay are valid, then you can park for free @ the Theme Parks.

Also, anyone can park at a hotel for free. You just can't use a resort for park access.

Also most resort restaraunt parking passes have time limits to prevent attempts to hop on a bus. You also need ADR's at the resorts bordering a park.
