I have been trying to plan a trip for our family of 5 for late October/Early November. It will be the first trip for our children to WDW and like the idea of the CR MK views. Has anyone here stayed in the tower rooms? Did you like them? I also am considering the conceirge level. Would it be worth it for the planning services you get? I was also told by a Disney agent on the phone that the 12th floor is the only rooms on the conceirge level that has room for 5 people and she also said that the 12th floor does not have access to the conceirge's services. In other words, according to her we would only be getting breakfast and snacks for the added expense. However she did say that the conceirge level at the Poly had full service and would house 5. One of the main reasons that I am considering the added expense is that my youngest dd will turn 7 during our trip and I thought the additional service may help. I have posted on the Resort board but thought some families here may have some input.

Thanks

We have stayed at CR for all our trips except for one (obviously our favorite!). We have had both views, and prefer the view overlooking the lake/pool. Last year we had the MK view, and maybe it was the location of the room, but the view was mostly of the parking lot, and the buses and trucks arriving and leaving. I wasn't too impressed with it, but like I said, maybe it was the location in the tower. Maybe others have had a better view. The water/pool view is excellent for viewing the electrical light parade that floats by every night, and the sunrises are outstanding! As far as concierge service, we did it one year. It was okay, but I don't feel it's worth the extra money. Maybe Poly has better concierge service. CR offers breakfast and snack, as you mentioned, but we like a big breakfast downstairs at Chef Mickey's. And speaking of Chef Mickey's, it's a very festive and lively atmosphere especially for kids (and big kids too), it might be nice for your dd's birthday celebration. Or try the California Grill at the top of the resort, with a view of the fireworks! (Check your guide for nights and times, and maybe plan a dinner with a view around the show!) Good luck! We really enjoy CR!!!
