Hi Everybody,

We are going for our first 10-day stay and after doing the math we've decided that a Premium AP is the way to go... We are also planning another trip in January for those trying to follow my fuzzy math...

Anyway, I was wondering for those in the know like y'all, does our Vacation Club status get us the same discount that Disney Club does on the annual passes?

If not, where do you get a Disney Club Card and how much does it cost?

Thanks for the help,
Joshua

There are no DVC discounts on AP's and there is no longer any Disney Club. You should still buy AP's but you might reconsider the premiim AP's because you plan to go in January when going to the water parks is really something for polar bears. Just make sure you buy the pass the day you arrive at WDW to get the most out of it and of course never renew the pass unless you plan on using the same day or close to the renew date. You will save money with AP's with two visits.

Unfortuanely, The Disney Club expires forever 12/31/03 and they no longer take members. DVC does not offer any discount on the annual passes that I am aware of.

You may want to consider the regular annual pass if you rarely go to Pleasure Island or the water parks. We go that route because we can get discount water park tickets for the few times that we would go and the combined total is less than the annual pass.

PAPs also include Disney Quest. :)

$369 vs $489, on the Disneyworld.com website.

Whip out your brand new Disney Visa Card, do about a 100 pt add-on at BCV, and use your Reward Dollars towards your AP purchase.

Or find a friend with the DC card and borrow it.

I like that last suggestion the best! Anyone who doesn't use their Disney Club Card please feel free to forward it to me long enough to make one quick AP purchase ;)

I was thinking the Premium because we go to Pleasure Island every night and I like to spend a little time in Disney Quest too...

So it sounds like there are no discounts on tickets after this year, that kinda stinks... I wonder what it costs to get a Florida Drivers License

Oh well, back to the drawing board...

Thanks for the help,
Joshua
