We own at BCV and have only stayed there for 1 night after a cruise. We have stayed at OKW and Kidani several times. Looking at going back next May/June. There will only be 5 of us going most likely. 2 adults, 15 year old, 7 year old, and 5 year old. Oldest 18 will have just graduated and he may be on a senior trip when we go.

Where should we stay and why?

Another question----are there any studios that sleep 5 or is it just some 1 bedrooms that sleep 5?

No, there are no Studios that sleep 5.

The One Bedroom villas which sleep 5 are Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower and Old Key West. I would lean toward those given the size of the party, unless you plan to book a Two Bedroom Villa.

As for which to choose, that's up to your personal tastes. Which resort has the pool / activities which most appeal to you? Do you want to be close to a theme park? If so, which one? Which resort style do you like better? Do the animals at AKV hold any interest? Which resort has restaurants that you would enjoy?

Give a one-bedroom at BLT a try. Your two younger ones could share the pull-out sofa and your teen could have the pull-out chair, and with five people it's VERY handy to have two bathrooms! Love the easy walk to the MK and the close proximity of the monorail.

We were thinking about BLT, BCV, or BWV. Going to try for a 1 bedroom, but we will see. Will probably book a 9mth window at BCV and then switch if we decide to.

Pros: All have a nice pool. BCV and BWV are close to 2 parks. BLT is at MK which we go to the most. BLT monorail to Epcot

CONS: have to take boat to Hollywood Studios. BLT cost more points. WOuld have to get a 2 bedroom at BWV or BCV.

If my oldest goes then we would def have to get a 2 bedroom and would have to do OKW or Kidani-we like both resorts, but just wanted to try something different.

We are not doing a dining plan and would have breakfast and a couple of meals in room.

Given your group of 5, you could fit into a 1 bedroom...but I would suggest one of the resorts with the sleeper bed in the living room...OKW, BLT or AKV*. OKW will have one bathroom, AKV & BLT will have 2 two bathrooms.

*Except AKV Value class rooms, no sleeper chair for 5th person.
