Need help, Lovesan victim

I'm looking for someone that is computer savvy and may have also been a victim of last week's virus. I got hit and was able to patch and get rid of the virus, but I somehow lost the ability to shutdown or restart my computer by clicking on the start button on the taskbar. I know it must be something in the application file that was lost, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated!!!

You might try this removal/repair utility, see if it helps any.

Go to the Blaster one in upper right. You need to give some info, but should be free. Good luck.
