OK, we are a member and I am looking at doing a 100 point add on.

SSR does not interest me, I am looking at AKV.

Problems are....we have a cruise booked for next year (used points, don't want to change).

Just got back from DW a few weeks ago, will not make it by October to use developer points.

Am thinking of buying VWL since they have my use year available however, for the couple bucks more (5) per point, you lose 15 years on the contract.

What's a girl to do....give me pro's and con's?

Currently own at HHI...can do an add-on there for less $$$$ however, really want to have the 11 month window at the world.

Kind of a rude question, but how old are you.

I will be 82 when my OKW expires. So that extra 15 years you get at AKV... wasn't really a factor LOL!

I will say that WVL appears to be one of the harder to book at 7 months for peak seasons. So if you want to stay there that might be selling point.

If it were me I would buy AKV and rent the DP or give them to a friend!

We're getting older every day...currently 37.

The more I think about it, I think I'll add to my HH contract....this place we visit most years. My kids prefer it there versus WDW.

They are giving 08 points if I take my April use year, I can bank them and use them for HH next summer...which we were going to miss due to the cruise we booked. Maybe I will book a GV and bring my cousin and her family along.

If I were buying HH I would also check resale. Having sold some points... they don't get a premium on the market LOL! I bet you can get a DEAL!

Totally agree. We have purchased points through GMAC, and have never paid closing costs either. If you look current resales, I'm sure you can get a great deal on HHI points. You may even be able to walk away with more than 100 points for the same price!!! ;) If I figured it out correctly, even if you pay closing costs, you'll be able to get about 150 points on the resale market ($65 per point) for what you'd pay Disney at $96 per point.
