As a child, I loved Goofy, I grew up in the late 90's and my parents surprised me with a three foot tall, talking Goofy plush and I loved the thing. My father estimates it to be a late nineties model ('97 or '98) and while it was a well loved plush doll, for nostalgia's sake, I've been hunting for another one, possibly with his voice box still in tact.
He seems to be nearly one of a kind at this point because the internet is letting me down, the only information I've been able to dig up is on this website called WorthPoint with the title "36" Talking Goofy Plush" (I can't post links yet)
From the doll itself, there is a tag on his leg under his pants (not his butt, I've seen some similar Goofy dolls that are too small and have a tag on it's but so thats not an easy indicator) which reads: "MATTEL, INC., ARCO TOYS ?00 Crossways Park West, Woodury NY 11797. USA, MADE IN CHINA, (c) DISNEY"
It sounded like he could have been a knock off because I suppose anyone could put information like that on a tag, and if they did, talk about attention to detail.
Any information whatsoever on this plush will be helpful: cost, where to find a voice box or a replacement, etc. Thanks for your time.
